Although billed as a new patient visit, Dr. Saypol spent little to no time discussing my concerns. The visit summary provided to me was incomplete, full of errors and discrepancies. In addition, there was no follow up to abnormal test results. When I finally contacted his office a week post receiving the results directly I was told Dr. Saypol would only answer my questions if I made an appointment at my expense. I did speak with 2 nurses who provided 2 very different messages on these test results. I was scheduled for a 15 minute procedure which is typically done in an office setting, but was told I could only have it done by Dr. Saypol under sedation in a surgical center where he had a conflict of interest (these points only disclosed after making the appointment). Procedure to be done was not even clearly communicated as there was inconsistent information provided by his staff, the surgical center and billing. Needless to say I will not be returning to this office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Saypol’s for approximately 10 years. He is a very kind, caring doctor who makes his patients feel comfortable and at ease, like he is their good friend. He takes time to explain to his patients what their health issue is in laymen’s terms and has a way about himself that makes his patients feel safe in his care. I have recommended him to my husband who also has become his patient. We both feel so fortunate to have Dr. Saypol as our physician.

I saw Dr. Saypol for prostate cancer (successful surgery) way back in June 2001. To me, he was excellent. One year later I moved to Florida and have never returned to NJ. Came on line to see if by chance he had ever done esophageal cancer as a friend of mine in PA recently diagnosed with this disease.

Waited nearly two hours beyond my scheduled appointment tome. Usual excuses from the doctors staff. Will change to a different urology office after this disaster. I’m sure I would be turned away if I showed up 2 hours late for my appointment. Awful, awful, awful. Book elsewhere for urology issues.

I've only ever found Dr. Saypol attentive, kind, and compassionate. He's an excellent doctor & I've had some truly meaningful ("deep") conversations with him during my office visits. Not necessarily about me. A few times he's reassured me with a kindness and compassionate expertise that's lifted my spirits. I knew from the minute I met him that he's an excellent MD. All my other doctors speak exceptionally well of him. Please don't mistake clinical demeanor for arrogance. He's very kind.

I'm shocked to see poor reviews! I came here after our visit today only to write a good review. I Brought my 17 YO in after our GP sent him for Varicocele, we were seen after less than 5 minutes of waiting. The Dr. had great bedside manner and wasn't scalpel happy. I went in thinking we were scheduling a procedure and instead we left with a check up in 6 months. Excellent experience for us.

I waited almost an hour in the cramped , uncomfortable exam room. The room has mold on the ceiling , the exam table was torn and the door sash was held down by tape. When dr saypol came in I expressed my dissatisfaction with my wait time. He said he had an emergency. I understand that but someone should have told me instead of saying the doctor will be right in. Anyway, dr saypol said that I didn't have s uti , but thought it was diverticulitis went to gastro had ct it's a uti doctor blew it
