Dr. Reed's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Reed "I grew up in a small town in Indiana and moved to Seattle after medical school to do my residency in general surgery and Urology at University of Washington. I love the Northwest and stayed after completing training. I share my practice with two wonderful partners, Dr. Jeffrey Frankel and Dr. Jeffrey Evans and the three of us have very similar philosophies of patient care and share a collegiality not often seen in today's busy world."

Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Reed "Patients are often very nervous about a visit to the Urologist so trying to put them at ease begins at the front desk and extends to the experience with the physician. Many offices have a several month wait to be seen--It is my policy to try to see anyone who needs to be seen within 2-3 weeks or sooner. This may result in a bit longer wait time on the day of your visit but hopefully you will never have to wait weeks to be seen. My staff is friendly and professional and will try their best!"

Dr. Reed Says:

I performed a vasectomy on a patient who had not yet met his deductible on his insurance and had a responsibility for the balance.  When he received a bill he threatened to write a bad review online if I did not write off his balance. He never came back to see me for a follow up visit regarding any issues with the procedure.

Patient Comments (6)

Dr Reed is an amazing Doctor, he was even able to formulate a plan with my nephrologists (Drs. Chin and Al'Kudsi) to help me restore my kidney function after I had the "worst case of Emphysematous Pylenephritis" he'd ever seen. I also changed my insurance after my stay in hospital to keep Dr. Reed...more

Dr. Reed listens and always takes time when he is with me. He does not bring a computer in the room which I like. I read the negative comment about billing and have never experience any such problems--sounds like a whiner

Stay far away from this urologist. 5 months after vasectomy, still have daily pain (throbbing, tenderness). Still unable to wear boxers. Running uncomfortable. To compound this, the office used bait-and-switch tactics on billing. Before op, quoted $575 AFTER contact with my insurance company (no...more
