Jackson, MI |
I was diagnosed with a cancerous polyp in the colon. I needed a sigmoid colectomy. Dr Prough was very informative and responsive to my questions concerning every aspect of the procedure and recovery. Dr Prough was sure to give the possible negative reactions of the procedure along with the desired outcome. I had outstanding care and felt included in my care plan which doesn't always happen when dealing with health issues today. I highly recommend Dr Prough to perform any needed procedure.

Had an appointment with Dr. Prough MD on 3/7/2017. Was in his office for a surgery that he did back in 2/ 10/ 2016. Still having pain in that region since the surgery. I have lost 60 pounds after the surgery. The whole bill was about 10 thousand dollars. Insurance paid the bulk of it. I have been paying on my bill that was still owed to Dr. Prough after the surgery was complete. The remaining balance was 170 dollars. They told me today the Doctor will not see you until bill is paid. Never Again!

Have had two surgeries in 10 year intervals. Doctor checked on me two times a day. Obtained home health check ups for further follow up. Very kind. All nurses I talked with had nothing but good things to say. Nurses know the type of person a doctor is. His skill and kindness are not for show.
