I am a nurse and my husband is a physician and we only wanted the best to deliver our first baby. I have a medical condition that made my pregnancy a little more complicated but delivery went smoothly due to his knowledge and expertise. He was always available to answer questions and would always personally call to follow up.

Dr. Preskill is extremely professional and caring. I loved his staff of nurses in the office. As a patient it was nice to see how respected and loved he is at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital. Dr. Preskill always made sure I was comfortable, my questions were answered and that I was alright. Several times I was the annoying patient needing a prescription for my kidney stones, antibiotics, and even hydrocortisone cream. Each time I called the on call number he literally called me back in less than 3 minutes! His staff squeezed me in many times to ease my concern and to put me on the fetal monitor. They were above and beyond amazing. Dr. Preskill delivered my 8 y/o son and my newborn daughter. In both cases the babies needed to be removed immediately and he did just that in a calm, safe manner. We were worried and he reasurrased us that everything was going to be alright. My daughter came faster than expected and he rushed in to make it. I could go on about the wonderful care

When I became pregnant with my first child 9 months ago, I then became Dr. Preskill's patient and was amazed by his level of attention and care. When I was battling a stomach bug for a few days and texted him at 4am on his advice, he immediately called me back and directed me to go to the hospital to ensure it wasn't anything serious and to ensure the baby was ok. This is one example of many times that he's gone above and beyond in providing care.

Unlike so many medical professionals these days, Dr. Preskill REALLY cares about his patients and truly loves what he does... He takes the time to explain everything and makes sure that the patient understands and feels comfortable. I have had multiple serious issues--- and there is no doctor I have ever trusted more... I wish they were all like him. :)
