I really hate going to doctors for fear that my aches and pains are not as severe as what doctors normally see. I hesitated to even go for annoying hip and knee pains related to exercise. (a previous doctor told me I might be "destined to be a couch potato"). However, I am glad I went to Dr. Parker. Staff were efficient in managing patients. Dr. Parker actively listened to all my concerns, explained the xrays, and gave me a reasonable plan after answering many, many questions. I definitely recommend Dr. Parker, especially for treatment of sports injuries.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Parker! I’ve had 4 arthroscopic surgeries with him. Both shoulders and both knees, over the last 12 years. All surgeries have been very successful! He is very good at covering everything that can be done with each individual situation. His bed side manner is always as though you are part of the family! He is the only doctor I can honestly say that I trust.

This doctor is potentially the best doctor I have ever dealt with in my life, and when you consider that I come from a family of Physicians and have had more surgeries than I can count that is a large complement.

I saw Dr. Parker back in March 2019. The care he provided was incredible, so much so that I was determined I made sure I left a review and here it is October and I finally did it. Everything he said made perfect sense and calmed my nerves. His plan of care was excellent, and I would recommend him to anyone I know.

Dr. Parker removed my left shoulder bone spur and reattached my rotator cuff. He diligently out me in a physical therapy program and has assessed my progress very diligently and has provided me with guidelines for what to to and not do and even provided me with means to contact him if i had questions or concerns after the surgery and during the physical therapy and follow up appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Parker and orthovirginia for anyone with shoulder problems and possibly any orthopedic problems.

I love Dr. Parker. If you have a hip labral tear or femoroacetabular impingement, this is the doctor you want to see. He is an excellent surgeon who is highly skilled & experienced in this area. He has a great bedside manner, yes, but so does my grandmother. My high recommendation comes from his effective diagnostic skills and impeccable surgery. I am incredibly glad I went to Dr P.
