Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Newbern "To provide highly specialized Hip and Knee replacemnt expertise for patients by doing only hip and knee replacement work in high volume ('practice makes perfect') and by bringing the latest developments in my field from cutting edge research by members of AAHKS and CHKS-the American Association for Hip and Knee Surgeons and the Center for Hip and Knee surgery. When patients leave my office they should have every question answered and fully understand their problem and the different treatment options. They are visiting a Fellowship-Trained Sub-specialist who performs over 300 joint replacements per year rather than a general orthopedist who may do 30-40 joint repacements per year."
