I graduated from the University of Detroit with a degree in chemistry and in biology Magna Cum Laude. I was excepted into Wayne state school of medicine during my third year of college and graduated in the top 10% tile of my class. I went on to Henry Ford Hospital where I was In the first class of primary care. In my career in Midland, I became chairman of the department of internal medicine for four years. In 2010, I became associate professor of internal medicine for CMU school of medicine. I currently teach the Internal Medicine residents in Saginaw. I was honored with the outstanding clinical teaching award at CMU school of medicine in 2016/2017. Blue Cross Blue Shield gave me the Provider Distinction Award in 2016 for ongoing exceptional contribution toward their stars program of excellence.
