He is certified by the board of neurology and psychiatry and has been appointed clinical assistant professor by the vice chancellor of International University and attending neurologist and clinical instructor by the University of South Florida. He received the Outstanding Clinical Attending award from USF in 2002. He is a member of Who's Who and a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Malka has been involved in a variety of research in biochemistry and the neurosciences, presentations, and pharmaceutical consulting, and has served on several administrative committees in several hospitals. He has been named the number one prescriber of stroke therapy by a major pharmaceutical company and has been featured on the Bill Newell Show and several times in the Hemando Today. Dr. Malka specializes in neurology at Oak Hill Hospital, and treats conditions/performs procedures such as: infectious disease, brain cancer, dementia, movement disorder, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, neuromuscular disorder, parkinsons disease, seizure disorder, stroke, balance diagnosis and treatment, deep brain stimulation, EEG (Electroencephalogram), EMG (Electromyography), evoked potential, nerve conduction/pain, cortisone injection, management, nerve block, trigger point injection, biopsy, botox, cognitive testing, CT imaging, doppler, lumbar puncture, MRI, neuroimaging, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), ADHD Adult (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), spine, carotid artery, angiogram, and carotid study."

This "doctor" saw me while admitted in the hospital for 2 min. I did not ask to see him but was still billed over $700 for his "visit".

I want to thank Dr. Malka for his complete understanding of my problem. I just moved here and he was competent,, conciise and had a solution nearly immediately. This guy is an absolute quack. Stay away. He could be dangerous. We were referred to him by a doctor in the ER for follow up after my daughter suffered a concussion playing soccer. He told us her symptoms were the result of emotional issues not the concussion. It's been three days! He spent less...more
