Love Dr. Koon....He gave me the ability to walk again without being double over in pain or laying over a shopping. I hated going out because after the first store I would be in so much pain I would sit in the car crying. I gave up even trying to go out and started ordering online. I had surgery and that afternoon I was up..I was so excited I had no pain. I had my physical theraphy at home 3 times a week. Everyone in office is great, Dr koon has a great bedside manner

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of time Dr. Koon spent with me and the genuine concern. He also displayed great wisdom when referring me to a specialist with greater surgical experience to better meet my specific medical needs. For these reasons I highly recommend Dr. Koon.

I was very pleased with the way Dr. Koon treated my father after he fell and broke his hip. He did a partial hip replace on my 75 yr old dad who has other serious health concerns. Dad was unable to be put under general anesthesia and Dr. Koon used local and mild sedation so my father was awake through the procedure. Dad said it was so cool. Dad did great and Dr. Koon was honest about the level of mobility for my dad based on his mobility prior to surgery. Aftercare included rehab and home P/T.

Flat out called my 80 yr old dad a lightweight with no pain tolerance. Little be known to this Dr my dad is now facing two major back surgerires all in one to correct what he messed up during hip replacement and caused lower spine to crush. I highly recommend no one use Dr Koon, his arrogance and lack of concern when it comes to pain management is disgusting unless extra strength tylenol is all you need to recoup from major surgery. Does not even deserve the one star I had to give!!

This surgeon cares NOTHING about patients, pain management, or appropriate rehab for the elderly following surgery. It's inexcusable and unacceptable to have to watch your parent suffer as my 80 yr old father has. Call anyone else but Dr Koon for your ortho needs.

Felt like he was in a rush and didn't care about me at all. Didn't say anything helpful. Told me I didn't need surgery but didn't suggest any other options

He is nicknamed "Dr Pain" He has no bedside manner and he shortcuts surgery causing him easier access to the area but creating an abundance of extra pain. I really won't be operated on by this doctor again.
