Wonderful Doctor
Dr Kim was great. He has a great personality and is very caring about his patients. He tried different types of procedures to help me postpone back surgery, and explained things to me in layman’s terms. I would highly recommend Dr Kim

Constant, extreme pain due to slipped disc and pinched nerve in spine. MRI completed prior to appt. At appt., Kim bursts into room asks what happened told him and he said I needed an x-ray. Told him I had an MRI, he left exam room and apparently found MRI results. Guess he glanced at them, but never discussed results or treatment plan. Just gave me an anti-inflammatory shot and prescribed the same orally. Scheduled an appointment for a week later to inject cortisone. Pills worked for first 24 hours only, called and begged for something that would relieve pain. Received automated call telling me that a prescription had been placed with my pharmacy. This procedure was repeated twice during the week with no relief from the the pain and several drugs tried. At no time did Kim ever speak to me or suggest why they were not working. Received cortisone shot which was partially successful for a day. Back to pain. Kim clearly does not care about my pain, is arrogant, aloof and indifferent.

After numerous years of being a patient, Dr. Kim decided to no longer prescribe pain meds for me. I am 84 years old with bilateral hip dysplasia I was born with. I recently under went surgery for a breast tumor. (no pain involved) Dr. Kim advised he can not prescribe pain meds for Cancer Patients. When trying to explain to him the meds are not for Breast surgery, he refused to listen. His behavior is appalling and against the Hippocratic Oath to do no harm. He has damaged my quality of life with his uncaring attitude.

Dr. Kim has been fantastic as he has taken care of my aging and crumbling back for the past 10 years. Thanks to him at age 83 I am still moving active and productive with a minimum of pain. Appointments are made in a timely fashion and I usually wait less than 10 minutes for an appointment. The staff is friendly and helpful. What more can I say?

I used to be on high dose narcotics along with xanax, ambien and soma from my previous pain doctor. I never felt quite well and Dr. Kim took time to explain why I should not be on narcotics and xanax and soma together as the combination can kill by affecting my heart rhythm and also cause sleep apnea and difficulty sleeping. He also explain that the medications I was on caused me to gain weight and make me sicker than my spouse for same cold. NO other doctor ever explained this to me before!!
