Not happy with the practice at all. Went in for heart issues and tests and got a sales pitch to use them as a primary. Never got a call for my test results. Front staff not pleasant or helpful.

I went to see my doctor and Dr. Kavesteen walked into the room without knocking. I wasn't there to see him, but he tried to say hello and asked if I had my tests yet. I wasn't there for tests. I was there to be seen by my doctor. He did not apologize, he just walked out the door and then I heard him yell at the staff for not telling him which patients were his. I looked him up and I am not surprised to learn that he is not Board Certified in ANYTHING. I have had better experiences shopping for used cars.

I enjoyed my time as a medical assistant intern at Dr. K's office. It was a rewarding experience that taught me a lot about communicating with patients and working with medical professionals. Dr. K is a caring, friendly, and professional, and his staff is great to work with. Would recommend to any individual seeking to gain entry-level clinical experience in a medical setting.

Absolutely horrible. Dr. Kavesteen and his staff were rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. First I waited over an hour in the waiting room. Then I went into another smaller room that had crumpled and dirty paper on the table. I was told to take off my shirt because Dr. Kavesteen always does tests before coming in. I was sent in by my doctor because I was told that they had a doctor who could treat my leg cramps and blockages or clots. They took pictures of my heart and neck and then I waited another 20 minutes for the doctor to come in. He never looked at the tests and he never talked to me about my legs. I don't know what kind of operation they run there, but when I told my husband about it, he told me that everyone said it is a scam business and not a doctors office. I will never go back there again and no one else should either. All they cared about was me paying my bill up front for tests that I didn't know about. I should have trusted my instincts when i first walked in.

Dr. Kavesteen has taken care of me for 4 years. I thought he genuinely cared about me. I found out that he no longer accepted my insurance, but his partners did, and I was informed at my visit that I would have to see a different doctor. I saw the other doctor, who was excellent, and I saw Dr. Kavesteen in the waiting room on my way out. I tried to say hello and he said "nice to meet you". He was my doctor for 4 years before that!!! He is pompous and rude and he does not care about patients. All he cares about is getting paid to have his assistants do tests. I bet it I had good insurance he would have treated me better. My new doctor is leaving the practice and I was told that Dr. Kavesteen will see me again. No thank you.

Dr. K and his staff at Heart and Health Medical are caring, friendly, and very professional. They create a welcoming/positive environment and are genuinely willing to help you with whatever problem you come to them with. They treat you with the utmost respect and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to have worked with and had this internship experience with.

Dr. K had no interest in me! I came in the door, and all they wanted was money. They collected my copay for tests I didn't even have yet, and wasn't scheduled for. When I asked why, they told me that "the medical assistants or Dr. K will probably want to do tests". He never looked at me. He said hello and typed in the computer, then he left and told them to do some tests. He never came back with results. I wasted my time and money, and never got treated for the reason i went in the first place.

Doctor K. Is amazing. Caring professionals keeps me on my toes when it comes to my heart health. Always concerned and working hard to make sure I am taking the best melds for my heart and blood pressure. Regular check ups and monitoring is the key and he makes sure he keeps me informed.

Dr. Kavasteen is no Lyme Literate md. He told my daughter she did not have Lyme because his Imugen lab failed to pick it up. A true LLMD should be well aware that most labs do not pick it up and blood should be sent to IGenex in CA. My daughter tested positive for Lyme and multiple co infections at another LLMD. She has been treated with IV meds and is recovering. If you think you have Lyme run the other way.

I love doctor K. I’m reading some of these horrible reviews that people are leaving about him and I am shocked. Every time I have gone to see him he always greets me with a smile and is the sweetest man. He is very knowledgeable and feel like tests are necessary. His staff had always been extremely pleasant.

I will never go back to Dr. Kavesteen again. He came into my room without knocking and did a test on me without introducing himself. I was waiting for my doctor to come in and I got him instead. I don't know why. He told me to come back in 3-6 months without ever looking at me. I never got the chance to even ask for my doctor to see me. This is not what I call care!

I would not go back to Dr. Kavesteen. I had to wait over 2 hrs to see him. Office staff is unprofessional - one of the techs had me put on a gown & did not leave the room to give me privacy - the tech seemed stressed & said too many patients were scheduled. . I mentioned my experience to Dr. K on next visit & he told me they had fired her. She had been there for months - no screening of personnel? Although I was told he accepted medicare, I had quite a large co-pay w/ him. Stay away.

Been there there only once in 2015 cause my dr transferred there. I did not like the staff too many people. When the girl called me to make appt to go over my test I never did that. I said I am not coming back here. Since then I found a wonderful primary dr and staff who really cares and no unnecessary tests.
