Prescott Valley, AZ |
The worst Dr our family has ever been involved with. His bedside manner is non existent. Every time my father was required to go into this mans office his staff never had the medication he was to be given, which always required a second expensive visit. Today he goes into the hospital as a consult. He was anything but uplifting and so discouraging that my Dad wanted to leave the hopistal. This man has no business working with patients. Disgusted is an understatement.

My mother-in-law was referred to him & during the appointments and exams she said he was okay, he wasn't terrible or super personable. However, when it came time to schedule her surgery his office told us they would call the day before to give us the time of the procedure. I find that odd & unacceptable. That day came and no phone call. Finally, my stressed out MIL had to call the hospital to find the time. Unacceptable, unprofessional. Surgery is stressful enough w/o their added hassle.
I've always had good experiences when interacting with Dr. Kaplan. He's very kind- unusually kind, quite honestly - and very knowledgeable and courteous and personable and reassuring. He's always taken his time with me to make sure I feel comfortable and reassured about my condition/necessary procedures. He's really very wonderful and trustworthy. I hope all of his patients have the same experiences with him that I do.

Didn't even meet him the first visit! Walked out after waiting an hour on second visit.

A personal note to Dr. Kaplan: You told me that I would get used to it. I have, but I still hate it! Thank you, Richard DeShetler
