Care Philosophy

I strive to provide quality care to both routine patients with shoulder conditions, and the more complicated severely injured trauma patients. I developed many of the current techniques in computer-assisted trauma surgery during my years at UVA. I am available for consultation for patients who have failed initial treatment for fractures or shoulder problems. I recently completed recertification by the Orthopaedic Board.Read more

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
