Dr Johnson is a awful physician and really does not care about his patients. My husband say him for a while. He was getting up every morning and gagging. We went to Dr Johnson and without doing any test told him his symptoms were all in his head. He continued to get worse. We switched doctors and the first thing he did was to do an endoscopy which showed three problems which were treated. My dad was another. He had severe diverticulitis and Dr Johnson never got a handle on it.

Experienced physician. Competent. Despite above, this older physician gives the sense that he is just going through the motions - likely waiting for retirement. No feeling that he really has any interest in patient's concerns. Seems to lack enthusiasm for what he's doing. Clinical support staff not much better. Slow in returning results. Weeks to get simple pathology reports. Report communicated by phone not accurate. Overall pretty blah experience. Much better choices readily available .

I have a very rare condition and was referred to him by the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Johnson is remarkable. I never feel rushed and he treats me as an intelligent adult. The treatment protocol he developed has likely saved my life. I gladly drive over 600 miles to be treated by him.
