My visit with Dr. Johnson prior to surgery was very positive. He took the time to answer all my questions and extra time to get to know me.I had 3 hernias that needed repairing, inguinal ,umbilical and one just above in the center. After surgery I was called to see how I was doing. When I saw the doctor again he explained exactly what he had done and answered all my concerns. He has a great office staff who are really professional and go out of their way to be nice.

I had to two abdominal surgeries performed by Dr David C Johnson. The first one was the day after Christmas, 2014 and because the repair failed, I had surgery by him again in June, 2015. June of 2016, I have a third abdominal hernia and I am now looking for a different doctor to repair the hernia. This hernia is within an inch of the previous hernia. I told him that he needed to put in a larger piece of mesh to cover a bigger area. He would not. Now, I need a third surgery.

Dr. Johnson performed my gastric bypass in February of 2010. I am still very thankful to him and very pleased with the surgery outcome. I had no side effects or complications. He was very patient and helpful.

Unfortunately I have to put a star in order to make a comment and share my experience. Otherwise I would NOT even give him ONE star! Horrible Dr! He did a procedure on me that was NOT necessary and it was only done for payment purposes. I later found out because my original surgeon advised me to fire him. He failed to reach my original surgeon before doing this procedure that left me in extreme pain and failed to help me to get a referral to a wound clinic to change my dressing on my wound!
