Dr. Hector joined Tyler CVC in 1998. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. He served as a Major, internal medicine consultant, in the U.S. Army Medical Corps at the Darnall Army Medical Center in Ft. Hood, where he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal. He completed his cardiology/interventional cardiology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Cardiology, the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.
