Everything for someone who suffers with migraines. I searched all the East Coast then found Dr Hammett and Tammy. Dr. Hammett gave me the ability to function in life for the 1st time in years!! We came up with what was going to help me. We still get together and go over what’s going to help me in times of suffering. If you want a doctor who will listen and do what he has been trained to do then this is the place!

I found Dr. Hammett to be friendly, courteous and very much concerned about his patients. That is rare to find today where most doctors only want to prescribe a patient meds and give you less than 5 minutes. Most don't listen to the patients. Dr Hammett does. I highly recommend him. He is a gem!

Dr. Hammett is a caring, empathic doctor. He has made sure to listen to me and come up with a plan of treatment that has changed over the 10 or more years he has been treating me. I am a complicated case and he has to change or modify my treatment because of my health issues. I am also not just another number to him. I'm a living, breathing person he cares about and treats with respect. I will not go to another neurologist.

Dr. Hammet is the only neurologist in Columbia who listened to all my symptoms before actually making an informed diagnosis. He creates a treatment plan that is taylor made to you, and won't treat you as a statistic. He realizes every patient is different.

Dr. Hammett is great! Explains & answers any questions. He really cares about his patients. I'm being treated for cervical dystonia. Waiting time can be a little long, but I wouldn't want him to rush with me, so I understand the wait time.

He kept me waiting 2.5 hours for my appointment while he talked on the phone as reported by his nurse. He gave me trigger point injections and when I had a reaction to them they would not respond to email or phone messages. I was told it would work itself out. If you can't reach a doctor when the procedure goes badly you should not use that doctor. Lesson learned.

Dr Hammett empathizes with all of his patients. There may be a wait to see him but it is due to the fact that he spends time with his patients to come up with the best treatment plan.
