This was my first time on Zoom. Video visits really freak me out. Then, I see this beautiful young lady and I think that someone has hacked into my feed. Carolina, NP listened to my concerns until the doctor came online. I was extremely emotional sharing my problem because it has dominated my life for well over a year. He was an excellent listener and he heard me when I spoke. A person who hears you has become a rarity more and more over the years. So is the ability to instantly trust someone. I want to thank both of them for not forgetting the passion they first had when they went into their chosen professions.

Dr. Gudis and NP Carolina are incredible! He has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've been to. I have had 3 surgeries for my condition, and finally have seen improvement after over 15 years after getting my septum corrected. He explained everything thoroughly, took his time to answer all my questions, and showed me exactly what was going on with my septum/tear duct. His NP is also very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Dr. Gudis is a terrific otolaryngologist, and I recommend him to anyone and particularly for complex issues. When I first saw Dr. Gudis, I was facing an unexpected health catastrophe, a chordoma. Dr. Gudis treated me for this rare tumor in the base of my skull. Dr. Gudis thoroughly explained the chordoma and treatment. At the same time he listened to my concerns. He performed the surgery to remove the tumor along with an NYP team. The surgery went great, and Dr. Gudis has continued to monitor my condition since then. He was enthusiastic about the progress of my healing after surgery and that really helped me to be positive and feel relieved. I am really grateful to Dr. Gudis. His care and expertise have made a huge difference to my life.

I've been under the care of Dr. Gudis for over a year. After 3 surgeries under his steady hand, I trust him completely. I'm thankful for his expertise, insight, empathy and encouragement. He shares as much detail as is requested of him and makes very complex medical issues understandable. During some of my darkest days, Dr. Gudis was the hope that I needed. His staff also has the same comforting bedside manner. I'm usually early for appointments and they are always efficient. He returns calls promptly or ensures that someone on staff responds. I often feel like I'm their only patient and for that, I'm forever grateful. He's an excellent physician and surgeon!

I first met Dr. Gudis in Oct. 2015 when my husband, Charlesworth, was diagnosed with clival Chordoma, a rare skull-based tumor, at NY Presbyterian in New York, NY. My husband needed emergency endonasal brain surgery. The surgery was 14 hours long. Everything went well and 2 weeks later we met with Dr. Gudis again as he was performing a post op checkup. He let us know how impressed he was with my husband’s progress, and the 3 of us started to talk about any and everything. The banter was organic, and he even let me critique his surgery skills. He wasn’t condescending at all; just warm and friendly. His bedside manner should be taught. He made an extremely difficult time easier for my husband and I. 6 months ago, my husband died from complications after having a 2nd Chordoma surgery in Pittsburgh, PA. I will never forget the impact that Dr. Gudis had on both of our lives and the compassion that he showed to my family and I after learning of my husband’s passing. I thank him sincerely.

Dr. Gudis is a rare breed in doctor's today. He truly cares about his patients. He is compassionate, intelligent, and thorough. While other doctors failed to address my problems, Dr. Gudis easily diagnosed them. He was very quick to follow up on my imaging results, and quelled all of my fears and anxieties. He was not quick to do anything drastic and explained to me why there was no need to be worried about anything. He really took the time to talk to me, take my history, and really seemed to care. This is rare of doctor's today and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Gudis to anyone, including family.

Dr. Gudis was my 3rd opinion. Right in his office he found the culprit of my problems by scoping my nares. I had so many nasal polyps that consumed my airway. We scheduled the surgery, after thorough explanation. He immediately provided me with the pre-op education and post-op expectations. He called to offer me an earlier surgical date due to the severity of my caes. He saved my life. He has excellent bedside manner and is a great listener. My medications were in my house the day before surgery
