GREAT. He listened with empathy and said very little, but what he said showed that he was listening to this very old lady. Met him in rehab from a broken hip, where old issues surfaced.

Dr. Golden listened and found the right medication for my depression, after other psychiatrists had chosen other medications that were not helpful. He also gives large amounts of his time, which is rare in this era of managed care. He is insightful and kind. As with any good psychiatrist, he will not let you get away with playing the victim. He is there to help you solve problems, not continue with the mindset that led to your problems.

Dr. David Golden I have found to be. a very unkind and of questionable ethics. My personal experience with him was 3 visits in which I felt his attitude towards patients and his clear lack of empathy for victims of abuse and individuals with serious and chronic illnesses was shocking. I found Dr.Golden to be a stuffed shirt arrogant and pompous.Find another M.D.
