Dr. Goldbloom's Care Philosophy

Substance use disorders affect roughly 20-25% of Americans at some point in their lives. There are a number of underutilized therapeutic and pharmacological treatments that can help in overcoming addiction. My aim is to utilize these treatments to eliminate the negative consequences addiction has on one's life. A number of factors can bring a client into treatment. Oftentimes, clients present with some degree of ambivalence about whether of not they actually need help (i.e. am I even depressed? I don't have a problem with drinking!). My practice meets all clients where they are at.

Condescending narcissistic. Don't waste your money. He made me feel worse about myself.
Though I cannot be sure, I believe the above review may have been written by someone for whom I conducted an independent evaluation for a third party who may have been dissatisfied with the line of questioning or the recommendations which came from the evaluation. This is the only new patient I saw between Labor Day and the date of this review.
