Patient Comments (1)
Roy, UT |
I had a tumor on my thymus gland. Dr. Goff said it could be cancer and should be removed. In surgery, he cut the nerve to my diaphram. As a result, the left part of my diaphram is high in my chest cavity. So now I have difficulty breathing and fatigue. I have no immunity to pneumonia, so it will probably end my life early. The head thoracic surgeon at Huntsman said that it would have never become cancerous and that the first thing you do in that surgery is move the nerve out of the way.
