Care Philosophy

I am an old-fashioned physician. I see my patients at the first visit and at every subsequent visit. I have no assistants, other than Linda at the front desk. I personally escort patients from the waiting room to my exam room. I get to know all patients as individuals. My dachshund, Charlie, is in the office with me on most days and patients often play with him while waiting or talking with me. I only recommend procedures when absolutely necessary, focusing on the patient's overall health.Read more

Dr. David M. Glener, MD says

I thoroughly enjoy caring for patients and try to meet their needs, but unfortunately, some individuals present to my practice with their own agenda, typically either seeking narcotics or faking an injury for monetary gain.  When I gently tell them they have an addiction problem and refer them for substance abuse treatment or evaluate them and find nothing wrong, they become angry and lash out at me the only way they can, with anonymous, libelous statements.

Come and see me and judge for yourself.  If you are truly seeking help, you will not be disappointed.  I care.

Poor patient care

I was in his receptionist window in serious distress; I was sweating profusely and very dizzy. I could not stand without holding the wall. Mr. Glener looked at me and stated, you look like your having a heart attack. He said, your very pale.... you need to call 911, all w/o even coming into the same room. His receptionist called 911, and the medics came and took me to the ER. Mr. Glener did not even attempt to help. he just watched through the receptionist window. This man.... is no doctor.

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
