This content was provided by Dr. Glasser "David B. Glasser, M.D. is assistant professor of ophthalmology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, practicing in Columbia MD. He specializes in cataract, cornea and external diseases and anterior segment surgery. Dr. Glasser graduated cum laude with a medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his ophthalmology residency at UCLA's Jules Stein Eye Institute and fellowships in cornea and external disease and corneal physiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Glasser is Chair of the American Academy of Ophthalmology's Health Policy Committee and is on the Board of Directors of the Eye Bank Association of America. He serves on the Editorial Board of the journal Cornea and is a past President of the Cornea Society and the Maryland Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons."
