Dr. Garras is the best!
My whole family has been a patient of Dr. Garras, he has the best bedside manner, he is personable and welcoming and adreses all of me and my families medical concerns with care, compassion and competency. His PA Samme Cordova is just as amazing! I look forward to visits with both of them. Couldnt say enough good things about the two of them.

Never use again
Midwest orthopedic has a very difficult system to make appointments. The clerical and reception staff are the least friendly, helpful, or accommodating staff I have encountered. I had a joint replacement in my foot done by Dr. Gerras. I have traded one pain for another pain. At the follow up appointments I was told it was healing as expected. I explained the pain I was experiencing, but was dismissed because the xrays showed normal healing. The follow up appointments are with the PA who doesn't want any issues, so even if you tell them your pain and discomfort levels are beyond what is expected, too bad. I was very disappointed with this joint replacement and have been delaying another because of this bad experience.

Compassionate and Qualified
If you want a down-to-earth doctor who truly listens to you, Dr. Garras is the man to see. I was highly impressed that his first suggestion to correct my foot problem WASN’T surgery. Dr. Garras explains your condition, offers solutions and supports whatever decision you make even if it doesn’t mean surgery immediately. After he successfully operated on my right foot 3 years ago, I returned this January to have the other foot fixed. Recovery is long and not for the faint at heart, but Dr. Garras supports you every step of the way. He is a kind man who genuinely cares about his patients, and a skilled surgeon who can correct the most complicated cases. Highly recommend.
