Dr. Forcione is an outstanding gastroenterologist who, I'm certain, has saved my mother's life. She was diagnosed with gastric cancer and unable to undergo the traditional invasive surgery to remove it. Dr. Forcione performed a highly specialized technique to remove her tumor in a minimally invasive way. He explained the procedure clearly, followed up immediately afterwards, and called us to explain the pathology report and the next steps that needed. We are grateful to have found him.
in Shrewsbury, MA |
Dr. Forcione is very arrogant and unprofessional. When our Mother was in the hospital with severe pancreatitis - we had him paged to her room and he never showed up. Most times he would just ignore the nurses many calls to him or he would send some flunkie that had no idea what they were doing. He did a routine procedure and nicked a blood vessel which caused my Mom to bleed to death. He didn't even have the guts to come and say sorry to the family.
in Saugus, MA |
This is the worst Doctor. His arrogance essentially led to the death of my Mother. Stay far far away from him.
in Boston, MA |
If you value your life, stay away from him. It'seems been years and I still haven'the recovered from his negligence.
Boulder |
Dr. Forcione told my mother he was 99.9% sure the growth in her abdomen was not cancer. Aside from this being a baffling and irresponsible thing to say, he was 100% incorrect and it delayed the onset of treatment. Would not recommend anyone trust this doctor despite the overall good care at mgh.
