Best Doc I’ve had.
I’ve been seen Dr. David Dugan for over a yr now an he’s done 2 hip surgeries an a knee surgery. I couldn’t ask for better from a doc. I’ve went to others an they said there was nothing they could do but as soon as I went to Dr Dugan he did other steps before askin me if I wanted surgery on these to try an get better. He explains to me everything he’s gonna do an everything. I love this doc an for others to say they’ve had a bad experience is beyond me cuz I think he’s the greatest beyond words. Keep up the great work Dr Dugan an ur staff.

Meniscus surgery .... Avoid this guy at all cost!
When I came to this "specialist" he said I had a torn meniscus and ligament tears. I was able to walk at the time prior to surgery but was in pain. After surgery he said he fixed the meniscus and there were no ligament tears after all. He would not see me again after and used his nurses as representatives until I demanded to see him again. I told him my knee was worse than before he operated and his only comment was " it was not because of anything he did"! He issued a year supply of Voltaren gel prescriptions and that was that! Now I have a huge cyst on the outer knee, am in constant pain, and afraid to go to ANY orthopedic specialist in the Liberty, Missouri area because they are only in it for the $money$. I tried another and he sent me to a nerve specialist and apparently could not see the cyst that is visible to the naked eye! Are there no caring doctors in this area!?

Was not informed 3 weeks before my surgery that this Dr was not doing my surgery at St Marys in Blue Springs and was doing it in North Kansas City. I had to find out for myself when I called about something else. For a person that can hardly get in my car let alone go to North KC for numerous trips this was an IMPOSSIBILITY. I am highly disappointed in him or his staff. Now I can continue to suffer and wait on a different surgeon

Dr. Dugan performed surgery on my right hip. He explained what procedure he was going to perform snd explained what I should expect after surgery. I was very pleased with Dr. Dugan. He explained how the surgery went and what I can expect with regards to heeling, recovery time and reduced pain. I would recommend Dr. Dugan to anyone contemplating problems or surgery to lower joints or pain management.

Actually one star is way too many. Not honest, hurries thru appointments, he did surgery on my right hand, 4 days out no follow up calls absolutely nothing. Not even sure I have a follow up appointment. Very poor office people. Very uncaring, this is nothing but running cattle thru a chute.

Dr Dugan was great! He has wonderful bedside manors. He and his staff make you feel like you're a friend. He also didn't jump right to wanting to do surgery, which was refreshing. Would definitely recommend him and his staff.

Not only is Dr. Dugan rather cute he also has a great personality. Most importantly he fixed me. Also important he spends the time with you that you need and is thorough in explaining everything. I referred a friend to him and she couldn't get an appointment for three months. That's because he's so good.

Learned a lesson today check your own insurance even if hey tell you they accept it. I drove 3 hours to appt because my family would have t care for me and they live by the hospital surgery would be done at. Got to appt showed my cards and they tell me they don't except it. Told them I drove all this way and another lady got up looked at cards said same thing. Told her I told person who answered phone what I had was like oh well not even an apology!
