Dr. Diduch has been in practice at UVA since 1995. He specializes in sports medicine and cares for athletes of all ages, especially for problems involving the knee and shoulder. This includes knee reconstruction (ACL surgery, patella dislocations including trochleoplasty to create a new groove and MPFL reconstructions, arthroscopy, meniscal tears, and the full spectrum of articular cartilage treatment options), and shoulder surgery (rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability such as labral or SLAP repairs). He is the head orthopaedic team physician for the University of Virginia athletic teams and supervises care for several area high school. He is an accomplished researcher with several active clinical trials and nearly 100 publications. Dr. Diduch strives to deliver compassionate, individualized care to his patients while teaching residents and students, and serves as the fellowship director for sports medicine.
