When a patient is not getting better after 7 months of continuous UTI/VRE related infections, you don't NOT recommend follow-up visits and DO need to return our phone calls re: meds and scheduling office visit. Waited 1 full week for a returned phone call to get a hospital follow-up appt, Finally they told me they would rather Mom see another Infectious Disease doctor. When my own my surgeon was hesitant to readmit me to the hospital after developing an infection, Dr. Dickensheets saw me that same Friday afternoon.
