I had to visit Dr Burt recently at his Burr Ridge office . I did not have to wait long to see him unlike other specalists. He is professional, kind & listened to me intently He spent a considerable amount of time with me. He had supplied me with various splints as well as cold packs etc. He had gone above & beyond his call of duty. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to friends and family.

Dr Burt is answered prayer for us from high ankle sprains, to a broken wrist, to a labrum sprain, to knee giving out at the weight bearing spot and needing surgery, to recently mom's ski injury of ACL torn and medial mencisus tear ... for the boys and for me Mom he is fantastic. We recommended him to our neighbors for two different situations and they were completely satisfied and I know they also would highly recommend Dr Burt.

I went in for a second opinion. I thought it was to prepare for a shoulder replacement dr. Burt suggested some physical therapy and medication an anti inflammatory. After just a few doses of the medication I was much improved but after the physical therapy (1month) I was even better I can do things I haven't done in ten years. Although I still have arthritis and will have to have replacement someday dr. Burt gave me at least ten years I feel great. I am grateful for the second opinion.

I am a physical therapist and have been practicing in the area for almost 10 years. I personally have seen Dr. Burt, and I refer all of my family and friends to him, as well as patients. My occupation has allowed me to get great insight on what an excellent doctor and surgeon he is, and the great outcomes his patients have. To top it off, he has great bedside manner, takes his time, and sincerely cares. Excellent Doctor!!

Saw Dr for a broken shoulder, was not shown the review of the x-ray to review the break, and was not recommend to have surgery for the proximal humerus fracture, rather try to rehab it knowing full well that the arm would heal at a shorter length then the other arm. Also that if the rehab fails the shoulder would need to be broken again for surgery. Sought out two other opinions and both were in 100% agreement surgery was needed. Not recommended for Shoulder injuries. Always seek second opinions
