Dr. Brown is an excellent surgeon. If you want the best, you have to make a sacrifice. I have been a patient of Dr. Brown, for decades, and I would recommend him to anyone. I would be completely blind if not for Dr. Brown, and God, the Most Holy of Holy.

He treated me for 2 yrs. Intravitreal injection paid cash, laser surgery covered by insurance. Informs me require a Vitrectomy. A date is set, clearances obtained, and nothing. I placed numerous calls... " Dr. Brown only uses his facility and your out of network. Nora offered several of his partners, including in the Bay area. I do not drive, told blind in the left eye. He has a office at Memorial City, but no privileges there. Why take patients you can not treat?

Based on history, plan on losing an entire day for an appointment. Most if not all appointments will be that same as todays appointment, had a 2:15pm appointment, Arrived at 2:00pm. After a wait of 2 hours, was told our procedure was no longer covered by insurance. Bottom line, after 3 hours all they did was say maybe we qualified for an experimental procedure. A total waste of the afternoon. This is normal for this doctor.
