Dr. Bowling is an ear, nose, and throat physician with a practice at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Medford Otolaryngology. The disorders dealt with include infections of the ear, nose, and throat along with allergies, hearing loss, nasal obstruction, sleep apnea, swallowing problems, gastroesophageal reflux, and masses of the head and neck. The most common surgical procedures performed by Dr. Bowling are: Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, myringotomy and tube placement, sinus surgery, septal deviation repair, eardrum repair, salivary gland surgery, and removal of head and neck masses or skin lesions. Dr. Bowling lives in the community with his wife and is the father of 3 adult children. He enjoys his family, sports, travel, and the company of good friends. Education: Hamilton College, 1981; Cornell University Medical College, 1985; Massachusetts Eye and Ear/Harvard Otolaryngology training completed 1990. Dr. Bowling served 4 years in the United States Navy from 1990 - 1994. Dr. Bowling has presented research and published on the control of bleeding after tonsillectomy.
