We offer personalized care for children and adolescents in the setting of a small doctor's office. Emphasis is placed on thoroughness, competency, and confidentiality.
Dr. Boettger (pronounced bet-ger) is Board Certified in Pediatrics. He earned degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (BS Biology) and Abilene Christian University (MS Developmental Biology). He graduated from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and moved to Salt Lake City to study Pediatrics at Primary Children's Medical Center where he completed his internship and residency training. Dr. Boettger has been in full-time practice since 1986. In addition to caring for infants and young children, Dr. Boettger enjoys adolescent medicine, and a full variety of problems relating to learning, development and behavior. He sees newborns at Alta View Hospiital in Sandy, and also at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, and also has privileges at Primary Children's Medical Center. Dr. Boettger has been in practice as a primary care Pediatrician at his current address in Sandy, adjacent to Alta View Hospital since 2001. Prior to his medical career, Dr. Boettger was a C-130 pilot in the USAF. He enjoys bee keeping, lavender farming and woodworking as hobbies, as well as outdoor recreation activities with his family. He is married to Jill, a pediatric speech pathologist with the State Health Department. They have two boys; Robbie is a chemical engineer living in Texas. Mikey is a chef at Zupa's. They also enjoy their Havanese silk dogs Bronx and Spunky.
