At the end of the visit Dr. Blum starting writing me a prescription for PT. I asked what he thought might be going on with my arm. He looked up from his paper and said "I just met you" then continued writing. He didn't have the decency to take two minutes to explain anything to me how the bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, or nerves work in the arm. Maybe he behaves more respectfully when working with people who are paying for expensive surgery, but his bedside manner with me was terrible.

Dr Blum was outstanding. After suffering with carpal tunnel syndrome for years, two easy surgeries (one for each hand) completely cured me. I selected him because he uses the most advance technique for CTS (single-entry endoscopic release). Recovery was quick (two weeks) with very little pain. Not only is he a great surgeon, but he was very personable. He did a great job of explaining everything both before and after the surgeries. I was never kept waiting for my appointments.

I do my research before picking a surgeon. I'm very happy with the experience from beginning to end. He knows his specialty well. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.

Spends very little time with patients doesn't seem to have time to listen to anyone but himself. Spends more time dictating to his recorder then with patients. Lost his communication skills somewhere when confronted by the people that keep him in business his recommendation is find a new doctor. 8000.00 plus spent and about 15 minutes of doc Tim I'm 5 visits. Order a surgery that was completed by the ER, his comments ,"oh they did this already I added some stiches and of course I it better

Had a surgery scheduled, showed up, waited almost 2 hours only to be told it was cancelled due to insurance authorization. Very unprofessional.
