Hip, hip, hooray!
I'm a little more than 1 year out from my hip replacement surgery and could not be more satisfied. Dr. Anderson took time to listen to my specific desires post-surgery. He went the extra mile of choosing a ball and socket best for my cycling activity. He and his team are not only professional, which is a given ... but also PERSONALLY VESTED as well in my well-being.

Dr. Anderson replaced both of my hips almost six months ago. (I'm 16, btw) I went to see him after visiting several other joint specialists and geneticists and other doctors. Dr. Anderson was very calm and professional. He is very blunt and told me what I needed without sugar-coating it, which I really appreciated. I was comfortable enough around him to ask questions and he answered them fully and in plain English, instead of the big words that doctors often use. He and his team laid everything out very clearly for me so that I knew exactly what they would do. After the surgery, I received very good care, with either Dr. Anderson, or his partner, Dr. Hendrix checking in on me at least once a day. I would definitely recommend seeing Dr. Anderson.

I was walked through my upcoming surgery. My questions were answered completely. No one was in a hurry for me to leave but they took their time and encouraged me to call if any questions came to mind after my visit. Everyone was very friendly, I waited maybe 2-3 minutes before getting into the consultation room and after that there was always someone with me. While I’m not looking forward to the surgery itself, I feel very comfortable and confident with Dr. Anderson and his team.

First of all I am a healthcare provider. In over 30 years of evaluating physician performance both personally, and professionally, I would place Dr David Anderson in the top 5. It is rare to find a doctor, especially a surgeon, that is exceptional in all areas; communication, knowledge, performance skills, medical planning, and follow-up, which Dr Anderson has which are all important. However, what Dr Anderson has are interpersonal skills that can not be taught, learned, or acquired. The level of compassion, concern, supportive encouragement, empathetic listening, are so genuine and consistent that as his patient you are left with hope when you may have been hopeless. This is precisely my experience. Needing bilateral knee replacements for over 10 years and morbidly obese, I was in excruciating pain and unable to walk 30 feet. I was hopeless and Dr Anderson gave me a plan and incredible support that I can achieve the goals and regain my life. I am forever grateful. I have hope.
