Dr. Anderson replaced both of my hips almost six months ago. (I'm 16, btw) I went to see him after visiting several other joint specialists and geneticists and other doctors. Dr. Anderson was very calm and professional. He is very blunt and told me what I needed without sugar-coating it, which I really appreciated. I was comfortable enough around him to ask questions and he answered them fully and in plain English, instead of the big words that doctors often use. He and his team laid everything out very clearly for me so that I knew exactly what they would do. After the surgery, I received very good care, with either Dr. Anderson, or his partner, Dr. Hendrix checking in on me at least once a day. I would definitely recommend seeing Dr. Anderson.

I was walked through my upcoming surgery. My questions were answered completely. No one was in a hurry for me to leave but they took their time and encouraged me to call if any questions came to mind after my visit. Everyone was very friendly, I waited maybe 2-3 minutes before getting into the consultation room and after that there was always someone with me. While I’m not looking forward to the surgery itself, I feel very comfortable and confident with Dr. Anderson and his team.

First of all I am a healthcare provider. In over 30 years of evaluating physician performance both personally, and professionally, I would place Dr David Anderson in the top 5. It is rare to find a doctor, especially a surgeon, that is exceptional in all areas; communication, knowledge, performance skills, medical planning, and follow-up, which Dr Anderson has which are all important. However, what Dr Anderson has are interpersonal skills that can not be taught, learned, or acquired. The level of compassion, concern, supportive encouragement, empathetic listening, are so genuine and consistent that as his patient you are left with hope when you may have been hopeless. This is precisely my experience. Needing bilateral knee replacements for over 10 years and morbidly obese, I was in excruciating pain and unable to walk 30 feet. I was hopeless and Dr Anderson gave me a plan and incredible support that I can achieve the goals and regain my life. I am forever grateful. I have hope.

I am so very fortunate to have come in contact with Dr. Anderson. Making the decision to have my knee replacement was scary. Dr. Anderson took the time to review everything to me about my knee, and went beyond the call of duty to explain the surgery in detail to where I could understand the whole process. His positive attitude and his understanding of my feelings made me feel comfortable to proceed with my knee surgery. Now surgery completed and healing extremely well, I am able to continue on with my life having NO pain. I'm extremely thankful to Dr. Anderson for being there for me.

I recently had my annual knee checkup with Dr. Anderson. This appointment took placed during the Covid-19 outbreak, and many of my other annual appointments had been cancelled, but not at Dr. Anderson's office. They took every precaution and I felt very safe. Dr. Anderson has performed both my knee replacements. He is very personable, and listens to my concerns and questions. It is a 140 mile round trip for me to have him as my orthopedic surgeon, and worth every mile and minute of my time!
