Hes held an academic appointment at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and New Yorks SUNY Downstate. Dr. Frazier is also a respected lecturer, accomplished researcher, published author on spine disorders and treatment and continues to consult for several international spine companies.After completing undergraduate education at Brown University, Dr. Frazier attended Harvard Medical School, where he graduated cum laude. He completed a Harvard internship based at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA, followed by a Harvard combined residency before becoming chief resident at Massachusetts General Hospital.Dr. Frazier then took a sabbatical and worked on the Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico as a general orthopedic surgeon. From there, Dr. Frazier finished two spinal surgery fellowships, one at Jackson Memorial Hospital and a spinal deformity fellowship at Doctors Hospital in Miami, Florida. He then moved to New York City and has been practicing here for nearly 20 years. He is a member of the Cervical Spine Research Society, Scoliosis Research Society, Society for Minimally Invasive Surgery and North American Spine Society."

I've had neck pain for 4 years! I had 2 epidurals that only lasted 1year & 6months. I went to Dr. Frazier as a second opinion for ACDF surgery. He will spend lots of time with you, but I personally found him to be a bit of a bully. during my consultsion he was insisting that I need surgery NOW otherwise I'm making his job harder. Meanwhile several other surgeons told me it can wait a few months with no incurring no additional problem. ...more

I'm in my 80's and the pain in my legs was so bad that walking became extremely limited. Six months after surgery my leg pain is gone and I'm able to walk at home and outside without pain. The surgery has enabled me to do this and I'm very grateful to Drs. Frazier and Carrer.
