Punctual on appointment time; office was very clean; staff very nice & accommodating. Dr. Alexander was very personable, explained what was wrong with my thumb completely. He was thorough in his explanation on how he would correct the problem. I left feeling very secure in the knowledge that I was in good hands. It was worth the hour, forty five minute drive to see him

This Dr. was very thorough and explained exactly what I needed to do and how he was going to take care of my problem. Scheduling was fast and my wait time in was very minimal from the first visit to post-op. Great practice. Great service.

I have no complaints about the surgery but Dr. Alexander did not talk to me on my first visit other than to tell me I have carpal tunnel. he was in my room for a top time of 2 minutes. Then I had the testing done on my nerves and had an appointment with him afterwards. He told me the result wanted to know what I wanted to do and then left the room. I went back after surgery and all he did was walk in look at my hands/stitches and left for the nurse to remove them. He didn't tell me any information, didn't suggest physical therapy. I googled the few things I wanted to know about the care of my hands. My follow up visit. I was determined to make him answer questions... after about the third question he stood up in the middle of my conversation stating he needed to talk to the nurse and never came back in. If you don't care about bedside manner and already know everything, then he's the doc for you. if you need someone to listen and discuss, find someone else.

Couldn't have been better. Dr. Alexander knew exactly what the problem was and suggested corrective action. He gave me a couple of pain shots and told me to contact him when I had made my decision. Great visit. Thanks

DrAlexander has treated me for over 25 yrs. Hadnt seen him since 2011 when he did my left rotator. Having trouble with my right shoulder and he gave me a shot instead of ordering an mri. Greatly appreciated the fact that he wants me to try this first. Tha ks Dr. A.

I went to the doctor convinced I needed a steroid shot for my knee. That's what I had always done and was sure I needed it again. Dr. Alexander didn't agree with me. He suggested a knee brace and short term med and I hesitantly agreed. It was clear I wasn't getting my shot! Lo and behold, he was right. Within two days of wearing the brace and taking the medicine, my knee felt better.

It was nice to meet Dr. Alexander and I was impressed with him because he knew what was wrong without even an MRI (which I thought was great). However, I think he felt I was wasting his time since there wasn't much to be done with my shoulder pain since I did not want a cortisone shot. He left the room without saying goodbye and I waited for about 10 minutes and then a nurse came in to finish the visit.

I have seen Dr Alexander for both a shoulder/neck injury and osteoarthritis of the cmc joints of both thumbs. I have been very pleased and impressed with his manner and expertise. He listens and responds with honesty and sincerity. I have seen him at the Nashville Once City location and have received great care from all of the staff, including OT hand therapy, pain management ,and physical therapy.

I must've caught him on a bad day because he left my room while I was IN TEARS and never told me goodbye nor told me he would not be returning. I was not able to ask MANY questions that I had for him and ended up having to ask a nurse who obviously was not able to answer most of them. I felt disrespected and that my pain and problems were not worthy of his time or attention. I will not be coming back or referring him to anyone.
