Dr. Alexander spent about 3 minutes with me and walked out. I expected him to return to finish up with my appointment but he was done and never returned. Office staff and nurses are awesome. Super disappointed. Will never see him again.

The worst doctor I have ever visited. Raised his voice to my wife and stated it’s “just a pinched nerve whether you like it or not” her MRI says otherwise. Office complaint filed. He was literally in and out in less than five minutes. His aid actually said and I quote you have to over look him at times, he gets that way when it’s an issue he isn’t sure about.

In the 3 mins that Dr Alexander gave us (yes... literally 3 mins from the time he walked in to the time he walked out), he walked in, never introduced himself, told us TWICE that he was THE hand expert in the area, didn’t listen to a word we had to say (although this was our SIXTH appt and third with TOA. We had been given the MRI results in a previous appt) and that apparently his own coworkers (who referred us to consult with him from the Clarksville office) were incorrect in sending us all the way to Nashville to see him. He was the most pompous doctor I have ever met and never ONCE even looked at my child’s hand except to say that he needed surgery but that he wasn’t going to be the one who did it. While he may be the hand expert in Nashville, I would NEVER trust my child to this man who obviously cares so little about his patients or has any respect for the other doctors that he works with. I will say that his nurse was very polite (and apologized profusely).

I had my Ulner Nerve repositioned in my right arm a few years ago and Dr. Alexander did my left arm two weeks ago. I had less pain and so far, a faster recovery this time than I did last time.

Punctual on appointment time; office was very clean; staff very nice & accommodating. Dr. Alexander was very personable, explained what was wrong with my thumb completely. He was thorough in his explanation on how he would correct the problem. I left feeling very secure in the knowledge that I was in good hands. It was worth the hour, forty five minute drive to see him

I have no complaints about the surgery but Dr. Alexander did not talk to me on my first visit other than to tell me I have carpal tunnel. he was in my room for a top time of 2 minutes. Then I had the testing done on my nerves and had an appointment with him afterwards. He told me the result wanted to know what I wanted to do and then left the room. I went back after surgery and all he did was walk in look at my hands/stitches and left for the nurse to remove them. He didn't tell me any information, didn't suggest physical therapy. I googled the few things I wanted to know about the care of my hands. My follow up visit. I was determined to make him answer questions... after about the third question he stood up in the middle of my conversation stating he needed to talk to the nurse and never came back in. If you don't care about bedside manner and already know everything, then he's the doc for you. if you need someone to listen and discuss, find someone else.

I went to the doctor convinced I needed a steroid shot for my knee. That's what I had always done and was sure I needed it again. Dr. Alexander didn't agree with me. He suggested a knee brace and short term med and I hesitantly agreed. It was clear I wasn't getting my shot! Lo and behold, he was right. Within two days of wearing the brace and taking the medicine, my knee felt better.
