I would NOT recommend this Dr I was told by his PA that he would do surgery on me and when it came time to for me to book the appointment and hopefully schedule surgery their receptionist repeatedly told me he will not do my surgery. Hen she proceeded to tell me that she didn’t think the Dr said that to me! I’m not going to lie to get unnecessary surgery..... I’m actually glad I’m not going to go here now, very rude and unprofessional staff on top of poor communication within the practice.

Dr.Ruark performed the surgery for my knee replacement. I have nothing but good things to say about him AND his staff. I might add that I know many people for whom he has performed surgery, and they give nothing but rave reviews. Great people skills too. Highly recommend.

Just had my second TKR. First one went excellent, and the second one is going good. Would recommend Dr. Ruark to all who need knee/hip surgery!
in Chicopee, MA |
I had no prior knowledge of Dr. Ruark. I was referred to him by my primary care doctor. I feel very fortunate to be in his care. He performed an excellent procedure and I am well on my way to recovery. He is friendly, knowledgeable and caring. He explained everything to me, and this has helped in my rehabilitation. I feel very comfortable with him and would recommend him highly.

Wonderful Doctor and great guy. However, front office staff person needs to work on her people skills. My only reason I would not recommend Dr. Ruark would be due to his front office staff.
Dr Ruark is a great orthopedic surgeon. He explains to patients what is happening to your knees and gives you options for now and the future. He is kind and compassionate. His office staff are always welcoming and friendly. If you're looking for an orthopedist, he is the only one I would recommend.
Brookfield, MA |
He's the best, would never even think of going to anyone else for Orthopedic Surgery.
