Be wary. I haven't walked without aid since my back surgery several years ago. And now the pain is back. Did Dr. Bergey screw up? I don't know, but I almost died in the aftermath. Got weaker and weaker till I got to a point where I couldn't even eat. Spent months in the hospital and a nursing home/rehab center before gaining enough strength back to go home. If the surgery is still questionable, the aftercare is not. It sucked. I was delegated to a PA who had not a clue why I was in decline and d

Dr. Bergey is not accessable to Patients. Relies heavily on Physicians Assistance. I have had 2 Back Surgeries by Dr. Bergey. The Indio Office is the worst. My last appointment was scheduled for 3/24/2016. Appointment Time was 8:30AM. I arrived at 8:15AM. I was told by staff the Doctor was on his way but they were not sure of his location. At 9AM, I was taken to exam room. By10AM STILL NO SIGN OF THE DOCTOR AND NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PROVIDED. I walked out. Indio Office the worst!

Dr Bergey listened to what I had to say, then did a study of my case and told me what he was going to do and what was expected of me to receive my healing. I had surgery on a 66 year old spine that had four other failed surgeies. My surgery was a success but due to the fact that I caught a blood infection and a bone infection (by no fault of the doctor) Dr Burgey stuck with me like a pit bull until he erattcated all the infection after in my spine and body. Dr Bergey is the best.
