I am a lifelong sufferer of Meniere's disease w/other auditory complications. I recently moved into the area from the Triangle where all my doctors are. A few days ago I suffered a severe and sudden loss of total hearing. Dr. Smith agreed to see me on an emergency basis. From reception to audiology, nursing to Dr. Smith himself, the is a wonderful practice of caring and feeling people! I have since had all my records transferred to Dr. Smith. Needless to say, my highest recommendation to him and his staff!

I went to Dr. Smith two years ago for a second opinion about a thyroglossal duct. I was NOT on board with the idea of having surgery so I postponed. It was my second visit a year later, January 2020 that swayed me otherwise. Dr. Smith advised that I get the surgery because the legion could get bigger or worse, infected. It was his cool, calm demeanor that helped put me at ease, along with his scheduler, Erica. She was the nurturer, and told me it would not be bad despite what I looked at on you tube, and really this is what I needed, a woman to help reassure me that I was in the right place and that I would be just fine. She told me Dr. Smith hands were steady and precise, leaving me with a nice clean cut that would heal wonderfully. Hey you guys, bottom line; I had the surgery, it turned out great, I SURVIVED :) I was out for two weeks, and my scar looks amazing and is healing beautifully!!! Thank you Dr. Smith and Thank you also Erica, (ribbit) :))

I went to Dr. Smith for a second opinion regarding having balloon sinuplasty. He explained why he did think this was an option for me due the chronic sinus infections that had blocked two areas of my sinus passages. I left his office feeling that I had been better informed than had ever been after 3 years with a different ENT dr. I had surgery a month ago and things are going well. Dr. Smith and his staff at both his office and surgery center are very helpful and nice. I highly recommend Dr. Smith.

Dr. Smith of Cornerstone ENT performed surgery to straighten my deviated septum. Everything went perfect. Surgery/recovery was not near what I was dreading. Doctor and all staff were great and made the whole process very smooth. I can now breath through my nose easily and no longer have the daily congestion that I’ve had for many many years

Steve Philemon – Nov 22, 2018
After seeing two other doctors who provided no real diagnosis, I was feeling anxious and worried as my symptoms continued. Through my own research, I suspected LPR, and was hoping to find an ENT in Charlotte who offers TNE (Transnasal Esophagoscopy—which is easier, faster, and less expensive than an endoscopy) and I was THRILLED when I discovered he did. The TNE was painless and fast, and Dr. Smith confirmed that I had treatable LPR and mild inflammation. I am so grateful to have found him!!

Dr Smith and his staff have been fantastic with my little girl ... she was just about 18 months when she had tubes put in her ears. Recently, at four years old we have returned for treatment for nosebleeds. Dr Smith has pulled three frogs out of her ears so far, and it doesn't seem to get old. He has such a good way with little kids!

I would highly recommend Dr. Smith. He was instrumental in helping my wife identify a continuous swollen lymph node condition which turned out to be related to Lupus, which is an extremely hard condition to determine.
