Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Miltenburg "The Breast Health Institute of Houston was founded by Dr. Miltenburg in June 2016. It is a private surgical practice dedicated exclusively to the care of patients with malignant and benign beast disorders.

The Institute is based on Dr. Miltenburg's inherent characteristics and cannot be changed:  The need to do the right thing is every situation, every time and an unbearable compassion for the suffering of mankind.

We believe that true healing can only take place when a patient has bonded to her caregiver in a comfortable environment.

We celebrate the uniqueness of every person and recognize that a disease process affects everyone differently. We use knowledge and experience, radiology and pathology, and evidence-based medicine to make accurate diagnoses and formulate individualized treatment plans for every patient in a timely fashion.

We work closely with the best specialists in the city and hand-select a team for each patient.

Our patients are our family and we follow them for life."
