Dr. Trief is wonderful.....she treated me as though I was the only person she was seeing for the day.....she gives her full attention to the person she is seeing....My cataract surgery went smoothly and I now have 20-20 vision in both eyes... I had been a longterm contact lens wearer( 55 plus years ) and had been told that I would have to wait 2 months without lenses before anyone would do surgery

Extraordinary!!! Caring, talented , knowledgeable (obviously!). Common sense approach to my eye issues. Recommend her highly.

Dr. Danielle Trief is a superb eye surgeon. She recently did cataract surgery on both of my eyes and the results have been perfect. I received truly outstanding care from her. She is not only a phenomenally skilled surgeon with “gifted hands” but also someone who treats her patients with warmth, kindness and respect.

Couldn't have asked for a better doctor. Dr. Trief is extremely knowledgable, helpful and truly cares about her patients.
in Brooklyn, NY |
Dr. Trief is an exemplary doctor and medical professional. She is an expert in her field and treats patients with first class service. She is compassionate in her demeanor and thoughtful in her approach, always taking time to answer my ignorant patient questions. Dr Trief always makes sure I leave feeling informed and aware of recommended next steps and course of action. I appreciate her combination of extensive knowledge and kind, patient bedside manner.
Had cataract surgery done by another doc, with mixed results. Went to Trief for eval and to see if anything needed to be done. She was very defensive; more interested in protecting the doc who did the surgery than in my well being. I asked her why my vision is decreasing each month. She said 'I never said that, you said that.' I said I have with me a letter from an optician showing the values. She shrugged her shoulders and said 'well then I guess I have to look at that.' Very disappointing.

Dr. Trief was great and patient at explaining what was wrong with my eye and what my options were for treatment.
in New York, NY |
Dr. Trief is an excellent medical provider and surgeon. She performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes and the results are outstanding. I have much better vision than before my surgery! She is compassionate and caring and went above and beyond to educate me on my condition. I felt completely safe under the care of Dr. Trief and would recommend her to other patients. If you are looking for an engaged provider who truly cares about the well-being of her patients, look no further!
