Grateful patient
It is rare to find a doctor who is both compassionate and capable of offering an outstanding quality of healthcare. After two major surgeries at a highly accredited hospital she was the first physician to talk about my pain and quality of life. She has given me hope.

I was recommended by a doctor friend to make an appointment with Dr. Cherrick because I have been in continual pain for well over 6 months. Consisting of leg and buttock pain along with numbness in my toes. Mind you I saw an internist, did physical therapy and a chiropractor. I had my appointment within a week — definitely a plus. I was pleasantly surprised that Dr. Cherrick took the time to really listen to my story and pinpointed what she recommended to start making me feel better. She also advised an MRI to determine if there are any other hidden concerns that we may need to address. She recommended a steroid shot to start with. And the one injection has made a world of difference. I will be seeing Dr. Cherrick to go over the results of my MRI. I am eager to finally get back to a normal life without continual pain. After just one visit I highly recommend Dr. Cherrick. Her staff are very professional and knowledgeable, as well. Thank you Dr. Cherrick.

Dr. Cherrick is a Transformational Doctor
After months of living with 7-9 levels of pain and going through various male docs who did not believe my pain levels were accurate. I was referred to Dr. Cherrick for a steroid shot, but feel like I also got a therapy session -- the first thing she said when she came into the office was acknowledged how much pain I am in and asked how I was handling that mentally (which was stuffing it into a box to not make other people uncomfortable) -- but having a medical professional acknowledge that I was in a great deal of pain and that that had implications on my mental well-being was just transformational to me. She saw me as a whole human, asked about the activities I'd like to do when I'm healed, and gave me a game plan to end the pain. Having someone give you a date of when your pain will be over and telling you you're not "weak" or "over sensitive" or straight up ignore what you've told them completely changed my experience. I cannot recommend Dr. Cherrick enough.

They ask you to arrive 20 minutes before your appointment even though you have already checked in online. When they called me in I had to wait 1 hour before Dr. Cherrick came in. When I mentioned the delay she said that she was treating other patients and she treats everybody the same. She proceeded to spend all 5 minutes with me before she decided to give me an epidural injection. When she came to the procedure room she told the technicians “ this lady is upset because we made her wait 45 minutes “ Treating the whole thing like it was a joke! I couldn’t believe how patronizing she was! The procedure was extremely painful and it didn’t work on me but I was aware of that beforehand. This woman needs to be retrained on how to treat her patients. She works for them not the other way around. I have never seen worst bedside manners!

Wait, what? Patients of Dr. Danielle Cherrick are giving her good reviews. I find this hard to believe because she is by far one of the worst pain management doctors I have ever seen. I was scheduled to have an RFA when she was treating patients in the Franconia office back in 2019. When she walked in the procedure room, she was very unfriendly and acted as if she was not in a good mood. As I was getting the procedure, I felt a sharp shooting pain when probed. She told the technician assisting her to stop the machine. She then asked me where it hurt, and I just pointed to the area and she immediately started screaming at me to not touch the sterile area, which I was only pointing at. After the procedure she stormed out of the room without even asking me if I was okay. She obviously doesn't have enough experience to even perform an RFA. I'm so happy she is no longer in the Franconia office.

Dr. Cherrick is an exceptional physician. She is whip smart and an excellent listener and diagnostician. She is also deeply and genuinely caring about her patients’ well-being, and she connects with her patients on a personal level. Dr. Cherrick treated me efficiently and effectively for back pain last year, and when my 89-year-old father fell and was diagnosed with a slight compression fracture in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis, she returned our call immediately. My dad was experiencing pain and muscle spasms, but was hesitant to leave the safety of his home. Dr. Cherrick conducted a telemedicine appointment with my parents and me, and came up with a treatment plan that will ease my father’s pain, aid his recovery and allow my parents to remain safely in their apartment at Greenspring Village. She was kind, patient and extremely thorough, and the peace of mind she has given my parents and me is invaluable. We are deeply thankful for her care.

Dr Cherrick is amazing. Great bedside manner, quick, efficient, and obviously well-trained. The staff are courteous and prompt in their responses to questions. So, why the one star rating? They deal with pain patients and their policy for updating patients is absolutely abysmal. Today, I had a scheduled appointment that according to them, they tried to contact me (via my cell number) to reschedule a few weeks ago. I searched my call logs and never received even on call from them. Instead, I received over 10 (yes, 10) confirmations that my appointment was still on for today. I live about 45 minutes away from the office. They know this fact...they have my home address. I am in a great deal of pain and needed their service. Instead of getting relief today, I got a call 5 minutes before we were to step into the office. The call was by a very nice person who apologized profusely for their policies of patient alerts. I am mad. The catharsis was helpful. Thanks for reading.
