Seemed nice and genuine in office which is why we went with him for a port placement prior to chemo. Found out after a scan that it had been placed in the wrong spot... he botched a simple surgery. We went to a different provider to fix the port. After speaking to other people we discovered this isn’t the first time a surgery of his was botched. Would not recommended!

Dr. Wool was there from beginning to end. First face I saw before the procedure. He came in cracked a couple jokes. He left me feeling secure. The team at Advocate Good Shepard were nothing less than amazing! The care and collaboration between them and Dr. Wool was award winning in my opinion! I have already recommended several people. Keep up the great work Barrington Bariatrics!!

Dr Wool is a surgeon/doctor because he cares about his patients and their well being. I have another problem that is outside of Dr Wools field, he not only referred me to another doctor, visited me 3 times while I was in the hospital, (with a Gastro problem) help get my results from another doctor and sent them on to the gastrologist he referred me to. Along with calling me back right away and genuine concern for my health, I trust him and his staff.

Had Hernia surgery and 7 months out of surgery the same pain came back. Went back for more testing. One doctor said one thing and he said another. I should not have any pain now after surgery. I went in with pain and after surgery same pain. All he said was my wrap I'd still in place. I wish I never had the surgery. I should have no pain. I would not go back cause he does not answer all my questions. I would go to another doctor. His manner changed completely.
