Dr. Ward was professional and friendly during my initial visit, and was confident that I would have great outcome. He spent almost a full hour with me, and discussed the type of surgery he performs. In the short time since my surgery, I've been able to walk, bike, and swim pain free for the first time in almost 8 years. Dr. Ward gave me my life back!

Just had my hip replaced Monday by Dr. Ward. What a great person. M Come across as extremely confident that everything’s going to go OK. Everything went much easier than I thought it was going to. Can’t say enough about how professional Dr Ward is. Excellent surgeon. Would recommend him to anyone.

Very simple, today I walked two miles with ZERO pain. I had both knees fully replaced, Dr Ward did a spectacular job, I had very very little pain. I am walking with no cane no help and it's for me a entire new life.
in Sherborn, MA |
I recently had a TKR with Dr.Ward in April. I am on the younger side (47 yrs old ) but due to my disease JRA had no other option. Dr Ward not only answered my questions but voiced the same concerns I had . After spending a visit with him and listening to his concerns as well as him listening to mine it was an easy choice . I am 1 month post op and while I'm still recovering I'm happy with the results. Dr.Wards PA Danielle is excellent she listens , encourages and is very knowledgeable.
Worcester, MA |
Dr. Ward was willing to do the knee replacement even though other doctors told me I was too young. I would recommend him to anyone!
in Wayland, MA |
technically expert and novel in TH approach; everything went perfectly and also as he predicted it would
in Boston, MA |
Dr Ward took time to speak with me at length prior to and after surgery. He was compassionate and kind in addition to being a brilliant surgeon. His PA Danielle Burdo is amazing. Knowledgeable and responsive every time i had a question or a concern. They are a great team and ( unfortunately for me) I will be back!

Dr. Ward is truly a professional and knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon.
in Cumberland, ME |
I suffered 2 failed hips from a different doctor so my confidence in a successful operation was pretty shattered. I carefully researched where to go and who to see. Thanks to my many friends in the medical community, I was able to interview several famous, very reputable doctors and have them look at my extensive file. In the end I chose Dr. Ward. Although it's been less than a year since he gave me my third hip, so far it feels great. I'm back to skiing (carefully) and living my life.
