Dr. Ward did a FANTASTIC JOB revising my recalled metal hip replacement (done by ANOTHER surgeon). I went from being in a powerchair to walking and driving again, so a GREAT BIG THANKS to Dr. Ward. I can't THANK him ENOUGH!!!

Dr. Ward is an excellent surgeon and has replaced both of my hips using the direct superior approach. I could not be more pleased with the result as well as the short recovery time. His team at both his clinic and NEBH are the best. They are fully coordinated within the team and were on top of my care.

Dr. Ward performed a right total hip replacement in Feb. 2018. Outstanding result! Dr. Ward and his PA, Danielle Burdo clearly explained what to expect, before, during and after the surgery. Spent one night in the hospital, followed by VNA and PT. By week 5, i was fully functioning and pain free! The office staff is professional and responsive - Ashley was fantastic. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Ward, his colleagues, and the wonderful friend who recommended this practice.

I've had two hip surgeries with Dr. Ward and both were done with an approach that allowed me no precautions after the surgery. I was able to bend my hips up well above my waist and cross my legs almost immediately. It was a new approach to the hip he has been doing for a few years and to top it off I left the hospital the next morning!! Hes a very pleasant person whose clearly loves what he does for people.

Dr. Ward was professional and friendly during my initial visit, and was confident that I would have great outcome. He spent almost a full hour with me, and discussed the type of surgery he performs. In the short time since my surgery, I've been able to walk, bike, and swim pain free for the first time in almost 8 years. Dr. Ward gave me my life back!

Very simple, today I walked two miles with ZERO pain. I had both knees fully replaced, Dr Ward did a spectacular job, I had very very little pain. I am walking with no cane no help and it's for me a entire new life.

I recently had a TKR with Dr.Ward in April. I am on the younger side (47 yrs old ) but due to my disease JRA had no other option. Dr Ward not only answered my questions but voiced the same concerns I had . After spending a visit with him and listening to his concerns as well as him listening to mine it was an easy choice . I am 1 month post op and while I'm still recovering I'm happy with the results. Dr.Wards PA Danielle is excellent she listens , encourages and is very knowledgeable.

Dr. Ward was willing to do the knee replacement even though other doctors told me I was too young. I would recommend him to anyone!
