He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, clinical cardiac electrophysiology, and internal medicine. " "As a board-certified electrophysiologist, my focus is the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of arrhythmias. By implementing the latest therapies in catheter ablation, pacemakers, and defibrillators, my goal is to help patients with arrhythmias live longer and better lives." - Daniel Y. Wang – M.D. " Dr. Wang received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and conducted his internship and residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He completed fellowship programs in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Columbia University Medical Center and received his postdoctoral training at the Columbia University Medical Center's Division of Cardiology. Dr. Wang is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine-Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is also an attending physician at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City and at White Plains Hospital in Westchester County. Dr. Wang has co-authored several articles on heart-related matters that have appeared in medical publications including the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, American Society for Artificial Internal Organs (ASAIO), the Journal of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, and the Journal of Surgical Research. He also co-authored a chapter on electrocardiogram analysis for the Osler Medical Handbook."
