I take the time to create a personal connection with each patient I see. It's important to understand the patient beyond their treatment to provide them with outstanding care. Having a deep understanding of their needs and maintaining an open line of communication means we can work together to achieve their best possible outcome.
Dr. Daniel Solomon is a Marin County native and was born and raised in San Rafael. His interest in medicine was first sparked by his grandfather, who worked with the German track team in the 1938 Olympic games. Hearing his grandfather's stories inspired him to pursue his medical degree, and his interest in athletics made sports medicine a natural fit for him. Dr. Solomon joined the team at Marin Orthopedics in 2009. However, he does not limit his services to private practice; Dr. Solomon is also on staff as an orthopedic surgeon at Novato Community Hospital, Marin General Hospital, North Bay Regional Surgery Center, and Center for Specialized Surgery. As a physician and surgeon, he strives to spend time understanding each patient's unique condition and situation and provide a personalized and involved approach to treatment. To him, the most rewarding part of what he does is fixing problems, and he loves to see his patients return to their normal, active life following treatment. In addition to his oral surgery services, Dr. Solomon has also contributed his time and knowledge to over 70 publications about orthopedics and sports medicine, including journal articles, book chapters, and online chapters.
