Although I completed an online history prior to the appointment, then a paper history in the waiting room, then an oral history with the assistant; Dr. Prohaska was apparently unaware of any of my previous descriptions of the current problem. How important is having the patient complete the history prior to the appointment? It seems like a waste of the patient's time.

Skilled and Caring
Dr. Prohaska was recommended to me by my primary physician and I am very glad he performed my rotator cuff surgery. He is very skilled and I know by the way he spoke to me and to my wife that truly cares for those he helps.

My daughter and I were both impressed by him.
Very upfront about surgery what it might help and what it might not. The girl that came in before the Dr. was very good about the xrays and what she was seeing, it really helped understanding it a lot better. Everyone was friendly and very nice.

I went this time to speak about and ask questions regarding possible surgery. Plus recieve my tri monthly cortisone injections. I had requested a few moments with Dr Prohaska to help determine my decision. I spent 2 hours for a visit that normally takes 30 to 40 minutes but Dr graciously attended to me once finished with other patients. Shucks, I shut em down that day. Lol. Not only did I have all my fears and questions attended to, I knew and felt confidence in a man that I was going to allow the surgery. I saw in his eyes the feelings of Trust Me. My surgery will be scheduled for Feb.

Excellent appointment
Dr. Phrohaska's P.A. Chelsea was just absolutely awesome. I absolutely loved her and she has awesome bedside manner. Chelsea did a lot of education with me using the MRI studies, X-rays, and shoulder model in the room, she explained things very well. Dr. Prohaska is awesome as well. He is very pleasant and explains everything he showed and explained the MRI and what was going on with my shoulder. This is my second time seeing Dr. Prohaska and he still is as wonderful as he was several years ago. I would suggest this practioner and his staff to anyone. Thank you all for a very informative visit.
