May 1st will mark 10 full years since emergency surgery to remove my stomach and esophagus and it has been just over 9 years since Dr. Miller performed the reconstructive surgery. My quality of life is better than anyone thought it could have been. He was supportive yet stern in the recovery process and was great with my mother during this very difficult time.

I found Dr. Miller through Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Atlanta. I had Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer in my left pleural cavity. Dr. Miller truly saved my life! He knew immediately that surgery was urgently needed and fortunately for me, I was a prime candidate for a relatively new procedure, HITeC Hyperthermic IntraThoracic Chemotherapy. I received this hot chemo wash immediately following my pleurectomy/thoracotomy. Dr. Miller is knowledgeable, caring & compassionate.
