Despite the above rave reviews heretofore, my experience with his "care" was devastating. He gave me a steroidal lumbar injection in Oct. 2015 that resulted in a permanent right foot disability known as "foot drop" or "drop foot". I realized that there are always "risks" with any medical procedure; but I never expected to descend the recovery table, "wobbling" to our SUV. Routine procedure - gone very bad!?! The day after the injection, I was still unable to walk in a normal fashion. I tried to get a follow-up appointment with him, but there was never a time slot available. I was only able to see his nurse practitioner for the next three appointments. And, once I was able to retrieve the written records, there was not a word mentioned about the "foot drop". I hope he never causes anyone else (in Tennessee or Minnesota or where ever he goes to treat others) the heartache of receiving medical treatment that causes the patient permanent nerve/muscle disablement in a leg or foot!

It is impossible to describe how highly I think of Dr. Lonergan, and would strongly recommend him to anyone struggling with chronic pain and the attendant substance abuse problems often associated. He listened to me when no one, and I mean no one, would believe the level of pain I was in due to Chronic Lyme Disease. He is duel certified in both pain management and addiction and got my pain to a manangeable level while helping me end my addiction to prescription pain killers. He is absolutely th

Shows very little concern for the patients well being. He wouldn't meet with me to answer my questions regarding my scheduled procedure. I found another doctor.

Dr. Lonergan has been incredibly patient and helpful to my daughter who has experienced severe back pain for close to 10 years. He has been innovative in trying various ways to help with her pain, trying to prescribe pain medications that do not have long-term adverse affects or cause dependence. His most impressive attribute is his willingness to listen intently and to offer hope! Dr. lonergan has made an incredible difference in our lives by caring really for the whole family. He is the best!
