I needed surgery for recurring diverticulitis. During consultation, Dr. Liesen took the time to listen to me, explain the procedure, and answer all my questions. I did not feel rushed at all! I was very nervous on surgery day, and while everyone else seemed to be in a hurry to get me into the OR, again Dr. Liesen took the time to talk with me! His calming demeanor and full attention helped me calm down. He is an excellent and very caring surgeon. I recommend him wholeheartedly!

had a sebaceous cyst on upper left shoulder for 25 years or more. looked to be about the size of a nickel. was referred to Dr. Liesen by my primary, Dr. Richard Margolin. went in to have the cyst removed, Dr. Liesen was extremely thorough in getting it all, which actually turned out to be about a half dollar size under the skin. gave inside and outside stitches, removed outer stitches in a week and is healing nicely.
